From fall through late spring, days are warm and nights are cool. Summer days are hotter, but clean, dry air makes the higher temperature feel comfortable. Temperatures are 30-40 degrees lower at the top of the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway and the Alpine community of Idyllwild.
