I have been serving the Lord for over 30 years at Desert Christian Academy and have seen the growing disparity between what parents want and what the world provides. It has forced many families to make a sacrifice in order to place their children in an environment that is rooted in Biblical values and steeped in academic excellence. We are pleased you are browsing our web site and are confident you will find information about our school that will convince you this is where you want to send your child.
In addition to rigorous academics, our students are surrounded in a nurturing environment filled with people who love Jesus Christ. This should not be underestimated because although the core subjects of the learning process are essential, it is the knowledge of God’s love that is the greatest gift we can provide. Almost all of our staff (including yard supervisors and student store ladies) know the students by name. We offer a wide variety of classes, special programs, and an after school Day Care.
Through various learning opportunities of enrichment your child will integrate their faith into each course that is taught, whether in our chapels, computer lab, Spanish class, or the art room. We have a large gym, grassy playing fields, and a swimming pool ~ all used for PE classes. Students learn songs during music classes to perform at special programs and are able to audition for our Talent Show. We also participate in the ACSI Spelling Bee, Math Olympics, and Speech Meet.
At Desert Christian Academy we strive to be a team working with the parents as our students learn to honor and please the Lord while receiving the best education possible.
