Elementary teacher in love with 5th graders!

 

• B.A. from San Diego State with a major in Spanish and a minor in English;
• bilingual credential and teaching credential from San Bernardino State
• life credential in school administration

I was born in Indio, California, studying in southern California universities and in Mexico. God has truly blessed me - I had fabulous teachers every year of my school life. Mrs. Hughes in 8th grade was a great influence on me and inspired me to become a teacher instead of a lawyer, a judge, then the first woman president of the U.S.! I love teaching everywhere, anywhere; I am absolutely sure it is my calling, my vocation. Teaching at CSOD has made me a better servant for Christ, a better wife, and a better mother. Teaching at CSOD opened my heart to thirst more for a life closer to Christ. He is my best friend. He is the one I go to for advise, for help, for security. I KNOW Christ is in charge of all in my life, and, in faith, I place everything and everyone I love in His lcaring hands. Working at CSOD has made me want to become one with Him. I love Jesus!
