I grew up in northeast Ohio. I attended college in Pennsylvania, then moved to Little Rock, AR, where I met my husband, Jim. I fell in love with music as a little child, and decided to be a music teacher. I did teach music for nine years prior to moving to the desert. I got hired as a preschool teacher here at CSOD, and attended College of the Desert to obtain my ECE units. I love teaching 4- and 5-year-olds. My favorite time of the day is teaching Bible in the mornings. I love how children have a natural interest in things of God. CSOD is a special place to me because of being able to teach the things of God, seeing children learning them. I love that my own children can also have a Christian education in a small classroom with teachers who have a personal relationship with Jesus.
