Chaplain, Bible Teacher, ASB Director
I was born in Chicago but spent most of my childhood in Grand Rapids Michigan. I still hold my loyalties to the Michigan sports teams, but other than that consider myself a true Southern Californian. I started coming to the Coachella Valley in 1996 when I was in college to work at the CSOD summer day camp. I officially moved full time to the desert in 2000 when I married my wife, Debbee, who was born and raised here. We now have 4 children (all boys!) Aidan, Brogan, Cashton, and Daxson. The Lord called me to CSOD in 2003 after starting my teaching career in the public schools. I fell in love with the ministry of CSOD after many years of helping with the summer camp, coaching, and volunteering countless hours by leading student retreats and international missions trips. I just knew Christian school is where God wanted me. CSOD has become my home and I can't believe that I get to work for and with my closest friends. If I had a day off to spend anywhere I wanted I would show up at CSOD because that is where the people I love the most are. I also get excited watching God is move on this campus and can't wait to see all the He has in store for our future!

“For I am the least of the apostles and do not even deserve to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them—yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.” 1 Corinthians 15:9,10
