My mother was in the Air Force, and because of that I spent much of my adolescence moving from place to place. I was born on March Air Force Base in Riverside, California. I started school in Germany at Bitburg Air Force Base, finished elementary and middle school on Eglin Air Force Base in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, and in 2000 I graduated from Evergreen Lutheran High School in Des Moines, Washington.
After graduating from Azusa Pacific University with a degree in Art & Graphic Design I was unsure of my next step. After a few unfulfilling jobs, I decided I needed a career. I had an incredible experience at my high school and decided I wanted to give that feeling to students and about a year later I was able to take a position here at CSOD.
I loved CSOD from the minute I stepped on campus. From the family atmosphere to the student led chapels and everything in between I knew this was a place I wanted to be. I love being able to share my enthusiasm with the students and watch them grow in the Word. I love engaging the students in the classroom, playing sports and on retreats, but the most memorable moments have come while watching from the sideline. When students rise up as spiritual leaders to create positive change in the student body, I am reminded of how awesome God is. That is why I love teaching here.

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." 1 Corinthians 13:4-7
