Ny name is Melissa J. Brewster. My husband, Barry, and I have been married for 20 years, and we have one delightful son, Brady, who is now 16 years old and a Junior at Desert Christian High School. Brady has been attending CSOD since kindergarten and has had a wonderful educational experience. I have taught both 2nd and 3rd grade, and am excited to teach 3rd grade again this year. While our son was growing up, I had the privilege of being a
stay-at-home Mom, and during that time substituted at CSOD for 9 years. I have also taught English and Literature to 6th and 7th graders and I have done a lot of non-profit event planning, served in Children's Ministries, and have held leadership positions on CSOD's annual auction team, golf tournament, and Southwest Community Church's Vacation Bible School program.
