A New Vision

Desert Christian Academy has achieved tremendous success as we continue to strive for excellence. However as our school has grown so to have our needs. In order to support and foster a nurturing environment for our current students as well as those to come, we must expand...

GROW

The need to teach and minister to students in TRUTH has never been more evident than in this day. With our continually growing population we can only expect and desire to see our enrollment at Desert Christian Academy increase. Building a new campus will allow us to increase our enrollment and support our projected need to help train students and parents in the aftermath of what we believe will be a revival in the Coachella Valley as people turn to the Lord in these tough economic and political times.

While our facilities are currently at capacity, of particular concern is our preschool. Primary learning is essential to the development of a child's educational success and we believe it is essential to provide a loving Christian education to children as early as they choose to begin schooling. A strong preschool with satisfied parents will serve as a feeder to our elementary school where students can continue being trained biblically.

STRENGTHEN

Current and traditional biblical teaching methods have always and will always continue to be the foundation of our curriculum. However, we understand that in in order for our students to remain academically, athletically and socially competitive we must have all the current educational, fitness and recreational technology at our desposal. Our vision is to have modern facilities with advanced computer instruction, athletic training and physical fitness programs, fine arts offerings, and fully equipped science labs.

PROVIDE

Studies have shown that educational efficiency is at its best when students are in an intimate learning environment where teachers and administrators know the studens on a personal basis. It is our goal to have class sizes with no more than 24 students to one teacher. Furthermore, middle and high school will have a maximum enrollment of 300 for each school.

Opening day is set for no later than fall 2014 and we can already imagine the laughter and bustle of students roaming the halls. If you are interested in making a donation to go towards the building project please contact Dave Fulton: DFulton@desertchristianacademy.org
